The Family Library in Douglas is a provider of affordable, educational and creative activities, which includes many classes and workshops designed to assist children in developing their skills and talents.

The Mobile and Home Library Service provide a lifeline to the Island's population, in particular those isolated by age, disability, economic disadvantage, or location. We bring books and library resources to anyone who is unable to access a static library, including bringing books directly to individuals who struggle to leave their homes.

Bibliotherapy is a unique service pioneered on the Isle of Man by the Family Library. We provide reminiscence sessions using pictures, music, books, and other resources to stimulate conversation. It promotes good mental health through sociability and communication, and is especially designed to help people living with dementia.

As there is no parliamentary-based system on the Island, voting is determined on an individual’s values. How will your MHK justify getting your vote if their priorities do not align with yours?

The matter reaches beyond the library, as it is also a matter of compassion and support for things that genuinely make a difference on the Island.
