The Family Library is closing

After 14 years of operating your beloved services in response to the planned closure by Government back in 2011, the Family Library Ltd and its associated charity is taking the responsible, but regrettable, course of action to cease trading at the end of its current financial year on 31st July 2025 as it cannot guarantee sustained future financing beyond this point

A volunteer group, The Friends of the Family Library are working on a plan to maintain the services subject to them securing independent funding. We are offering them every assistance including making all our assets available to use as part of their plan
